What goes where in the COOWOZ travel backpack
- Shoe pocket
- A zipped pocket at the base opens from the side, so your sneakers ride under the clothes, not on top of them.
- Wet pocket
- A lined pouch for a swimsuit or a damp towel, kept apart from dry things.
- Laptop sleeve
- On the 25 liter bag, one sleeve takes a laptop up to 15.6 inches and a second one a 13 inch tablet.
- Back pocket
- A zip against your back holds a passport or a phone where nobody behind you can reach it.

What is COOWOZ?
COOWOZ has been making bags since 2021. Most of what we make is one idea worked out in different sizes: a backpack with a pocket for everything that usually gets lost at the bottom, priced so a student or a family can buy one for each person. Our travel backpack is the one people rate most, with more than fourteen thousand ratings on its family.

Which COOWOZ backpack fits under the seat on your flight?
The 20 and 25 liter travel backpacks and the L carry-ons measure within 18 x 14 x 8 inches, the personal item size American, JetBlue, Frontier and Allegiant print. United prints 17 x 10 x 9, smaller than any of our travel backpacks. The size check compares every bag with each airline.
What is the difference between your COOWOZ 25L and 45L backpack?
The same layout at two depths. The 25 liter bag measures 16.5 x 12.6 x 7.9 inches and goes under the seat; the 45 liter bag is 18.5 x 12.6 x 8.7 inches and goes in the overhead bin as a carry-on.
How does the COOWOZ vacuum backpack work?
Inside is a bag that seals around folded clothes, and a small pump comes with it to draw the air out. The clothes take less room, so more fits. They weigh the same, so the vacuum backpack helps with space, not with an airline weight limit.
Can you charge your phone from a COOWOZ backpack?
Yes, from the bags with a USB port, using your own power bank. The power bank plugs into a cable inside the bag and the phone into the port outside. On a flight the power bank stays in the cabin; the FAA does not allow spare lithium batteries in checked bags.
Are COOWOZ backpacks waterproof?
They are water-resistant polyester or canvas: rain rolls off in a shower and the fabric wipes clean. Water gets in through the zips in a downpour, so keep a laptop in a sleeve or a case.
How do you clean your COOWOZ bag?
Wipe the fabric with a damp cloth and a little mild soap and let the bag dry open, away from direct heat. Empty the shoe and wet pockets after each trip so they can air out.
